Eligible first orders may receive up to 3%
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements. Final savings depend on supplier confirmation, product type and order value.
A powder pneumatic conveying system inquiry is only comparable when powder behavior, changeover and upstream or downstream interfaces are stated with the headline transfer rate. This page maps those operating contexts so factories cannot hide a cohesive powder behind a free-flowing trial lot.
Confirm whether powder arrives from a bag dump, loss-in-weight feeder or existing hopper, and whether more than one pickup shares the same air mover. Vacuum pickup that expects a flooded inlet will not meet kg/h if the feeder is still starve-fed. State bulk density, moisture and particle-size distribution separately, then name whether the route should be positive-pressure dense phase or vacuum pickup.
Ask which conveying mode is used for the most fragile grade, how filter cleaning is swapped between lots, and how long residual purge takes. Silent discharge of leftover powder into the next recipe is a quality escape, not a speed feature. PLC recipes should list every contracted powder, not a “typical” powder. Working pressure and flow rate must be restated for each recipe if viscosity or cohesion changes.
Received powder must leave the filter hopper without blocking the next cycle. Mixing, packing or reactor charging that is not in the conveying quote still affects SAT if the handshake is undefined. Ask who sizes receiver filter pressure losses over the full route, including duct equivalent length after changeover hardware is added.
| Dimension | Buyer states | Supplier restates | Why it changes ranking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Throughput basis | kg/h or m3/h with bulk density and moisture | Test powder, route length and conveying mode used | Nominal speed is not validated output |
| Conveying mode | Dense phase, dilute phase or vacuum pickup | Working pressure in barg and velocity in m/s | Wrong mode inflates claimed rate and damages particles |
| Changeover | SKU sequence and residual limit | Purge method, time and first-good check | Shift output depends on restart, not peak |
| Connected utilities | 208/230/480 V, 60 Hz, air in bar/psi, footprint in mm | Connected load in kW and work envelope | Site cost sits outside machine price |
| Line versus machine | Pickup, pipeline and receiver as one duty | Included isolation, filtration and discharge | Single-machine quotes omit interfaces |
Technical limits that remain visible on this page: a short supplier test loop may not represent plant elevation and bend count; filter pressure drop at the end of a campaign can exceed the clean-filter figure; abrasive powders wear bends and rotary valves on a schedule the buyer must request rather than assume. Cooling water is usually not required unless a packaged cooler is quoted with the air mover. These are procurement checks, not a performance promise from Pneumatic Conveying System Sourcing.
